Hello all,
In error, we overlooked mentioning that there will be Family Night next Wednesday beginning at 5:45.  The food theme is Taco Night!  Ground beef and taco shells will be provided.  Please bring toppings to share!
Thank you and hope to see you then!

Footprints Newsletter

Good Friday Morning Everyone!
Well, my friends, this is going to be my last email to you all.  It's bittersweet for me as I begin a new chapter.  I cannot thank you all enough for your love, support, generosity etc.   When I started this position, it opened up the opportunity for my family and I to have a new church to attend.  It has become our church home and we have made an entire new set of friends and for that we will forever be thankful. You are all the best!!  Together we have been through some shaky times here at our church, but I wholeheartedly believe that is all behind us now and a new chapter for the church is beginning to unravel.  I know there are some wonderful things on the horizon.
With this news, I would like for you all to get to know our new Office Administrator, Sheryl Salter.  She will be here to assist you in every way and she will be wonderful!  Please note, while we make this transition, for the next few weeks, the office will have limited hours.  If you have any immediate concerns, please contact Cindy Halsey at 210-7268 or email her at home at: halsey49@q.com, or Mona Navalta at 203-8233.
Tomorrow is our Fall Work Day!  Please come dressed to get dirty from 9-12.  Tom Putney will be in charge.  Inside this week's newsletter we have some VERY exciting news!  Please open and read why we are so excited!!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, month, year ahead!  Please join us for Communion Sunday this weekend at 10.   God Bless!  I will miss you!!
"To everything – turn, turn, turn
To every season – turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven"

Happy Friday Everyone!
It's a beautiful FALL day!  Yes, it is officially fall!  If you haven't been leaf peeping as of yet, you may want to get out there and see the leaves change into brilliant gold, orange and even red.  This week the trees are at their peak!  You don't want to do what I did last year, and drive all the way to Mueller State Park a week too late.  Autumn is not quite as pretty with bare trees that have zero leaves left!
This Sunday, Barb & Mark Dixon welcome you after worship to their home to celebrate Ruth Ann's birthday!  All you have to do is bring your singing voice and a finger food or salad to share.  The dessert will be provided.  All the details are attached in your newsletter.  Also, don't forget our Fall Work Day next Saturday!
The details of these and other events are inside as well as a biography of one of our members.  You want to know who?  I'm not telling.  You will need to open up your newsletter to find out for yourself! ?
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  We will see you this Sunday at 10 with Rev. Susan Hartley leading worship.

Happy Friday!
I can't keep track of all these Fridays!  They come so fast, it seems.  It's a beautiful one too, so I hope you get the chance to go out and enjoy nature.
In this week's Footprints Newsletter, I'm just not even sure where to begin!  I was inundated with so many great things coming up in our church and our newsletter is packed full of events that you NEED to mark down on your calendars so please be sure to read up this week!
We will be having an over-due work day here at the church on October 1st.  So feel free to start using your critiquing eyes to scan the grounds of the church for things you see need fixing, painting and raking. It will be a fun day working with your friends and helping our church look wonderful at the same time!
This Sunday, we will begin taking donations for Halloween at La Foret.  Please read up on what you can begin bringing as there will be a big blue tub in the Narthex.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and we hope to see you at worship at 10!

Footprints Newsletter

Good September Morning!
This Sunday marks the 15th anniversary of 9/11.  Do you remember what you were doing that day?  I believe it's etched into all of our memories.  But however tragic and sad that memory was, the powerful and positive stories that came from that day, is no match.  This Sunday, let us pray for all the families who are still grieving from their losses, and celebrate America on Patriot Day!
This week's newsletter has a few upcoming events on dates that you will need to mark on your calendars, so be sure to open your attachment and see what they are!
If you are interested in going to La Puente to help with our annual gleaning trip, you will need to contact Debbie Putney, no later than today.  Her contact information is included.
Please take note, our next Board meeting will take place next Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.  All are welcome.
Have a fantastic weekend, and God Bless America!

Happy Friday!
Ok, close your eyes and count to ten, then open them….It's Labor Day Weekend already!! It was just Christmas, yesterday (at least that's how it feels)!  It's an official end to summer and the time of year we gear up for the leaves to turn, apples to harvest and enjoy the smell of apple and pumpkin pies baking in the oven!  As much as I am sad for summer to go, I love the fall for all those reasons!
In this week's attached newsletter, you will see that we are still looking for volunteers for our annual fall gleaning in Alamosa.  If you are interested, please contact Debbie Putney.
Also, Family Night is back!  Come one, come all for dinner fellowship and Youth Group, all happening this coming Wednesday.
This Sunday, we welcome you all to worship at 10 when the lovely Kay Stricklan will be our guest speaker!  Please note, although it is the first Sunday in the month, we will be postponing communion until next Sunday when Rev. Susan Hartley returns.
Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend and please stay safe!!
