Footprints Newsletter

Good Morning!
What a beautiful morning!  I do believe summer is finally here!  My favorite time of year here in this beautiful state of Colorado.
Did you register your child yet for VBS?  Well, what are you waiting for?  It begins in only 10 more days!  Last year, the kids had an amazing week.  Let's repeat that this year!  Details on where to register can be found under the Vacation Bible School article in this week's newsletter.  In addition to signing up your child, (even if you don't have a child to sign up) we could use your help by donating items needed for the VBS week to include food donations. The list of needed items can be found in your Footprints attachment. Please refrain from bringing perishable items until the end of next week, no later than Sunday, June 12th.  We thank you in advance!
In this week's Footprints, you can read a bio of Rev. Susan Hartley.  It's so interesting to see her journey to BFCC.  We are so happy to have her here.  She came at the most perfect time!  We are blessed.
Lastly, a volunteer opportunity awaits.  A chipping project has been scheduled for Sunday, June 12, beginning at 8:45 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m.  If you are willing and able to volunteer on a Sunday in the beautiful Black Forest, Donna Arkowski, Volunteer Coordinator, would be so pleased to have you join this work party.  Please let her know by return email if you can make it.  Her email is and her phone number is 719-495-2982.
The future is so bright and we look forward to a positive, fresh start in our church as the seasons change from spring to summer; the most beautiful time of year!  So go out and enjoy this weather, and don't forget to join us on Sunday, when Rev. Susan Hartley returns for worship!
