Season 1, Episode 3

Our Common Fate features Shane Claiborne and Mike Martin. Shane is a Christian activist, advocating for nonviolence and service to the poor. He is the author of many books, including Beating Guns: Hope for People Who are Weary of Violence, which he co-authored with friend and peace activist Mike Martin. Mike is the founder and executive director of the national non-profit RawTools.

Using the second chapter of “Who Will Be A Witness” as guide, we explore the biblical character Barabbas and his relationship with Jesus. We discuss Barabbas’ role in this Holy story instead of diluting, domesticating or misdirecting the meaning of Barabbas in relationship to Jesus.
